How Not To Load a Quad
By John Coyle
Editor
Since I’ve never really had a proper ramp, I’ve always found putting motorcycles into trucks to be a pretty stressful experience. And when I saw how flimsy this dude’s set-up looked—and how fast he came at the truck—I knew he was going to have some problems. Fortunately, nobody got hurt, and it looks like nothing got terribly messed up. Think he’ll be more cautious next time?

Wow, he was probably worried about not having enough momentum and spinning the tires going up the ramps and kicking the boards out from under him, which I have seen happen or almost happen on more than one occasion. But we still do it anyway.

Yeah i’ve always been a bit leary putting the rented equipment into the back of my truck but, it seems to go flawlessly with the right speed and angle.
What a doofus.

this vid looks rigged, why else would they be taping it unless they were planning to do something worth catching on tape.
my dad has used ramps but they actually attach to the tailgate. We have a snowmobile trailer that actually flips down, so we’ve got it easy.

hahahahaahahaha what a ‘tard!!!! My friend doesn’t use ramps at all, the quads are not that heavy so you could easily lift it and push it into the truck. We do it all the time.
