Sick Green Dodge Challenger Targa

By Rob Einaudi

Editor-in-Chief

Here’s another awesome Challenger that Dodge is bringing to SEMA. Powered by a 392 Hemi crate motor, this Challenger completed in the Targa Newfoundland race this year. See the rest of the pics after the jump, and get all the details at the Chrysler site.

It’s a funny thing but I’ll bet in the late 60’s/ early 70’s people where trying to make their cars look modern. Now in the 2000’s people are trying to make their cars look like old ones. Everyone has lost their mind! So then I want to make my joints smell like the joints smokes by the hippies in 1969.

I’d take my ole 70 440 Cuda over this any day….Paint it black, ditch all the decals, spoilers, and lower it with polished 19’s and you might have something…But you can’t, the rear fenderwells are too small for any real tires…Looks like an ole Duster with a chopped top from the side….

Rims could’ve been better, but I looks WAY better than the new Chargers!!! I likes!

I don’t like the wheels, but I do like the hood. I think the T/A hood should be an option.

Love it. Awsome color, appropriate wheels, AND it has the correct number of doors.

Looks good but too bad about that dinky daughter window behind the driver and passenger side. Why couldn’t they make that window roll down???

I like it in green! Very clean. For some reason the Challenger does something for me the Charger never did.
