Motorcyclist Stays Cool, Avoids Certain Death

By John Coyle

During NASCAR races, it’s always wild to see drivers stay cool and navigate through tremendous wrecks. Of course, those guys have uber-experienced spotters telling them which direction to go, while this biker just had to trust his gut and hope for the best. Yikes.

I bet he puckered up his A$$ and closed his eyes so tight when he hit that cloud of dust..HA HA!!… what you dont see in the video is the guy pulling off at the next exit with a gas station and buying a Lotto Ticket… COS TODAY WAS HIS LUCKY DAY!

Simple he got lucky. Also it isnt fake. That is a police dash cam so I doubt that could be faked.

Old dirt track trick as well as on asphalt tracks. Go where the crash was and where the smoke is as 90% of the time, the crash isn’t there anymore and have separated.
.
Although if I was him, I would’ve gone back and helped. Maybe it was best he didn’t. Luck saved him this time. ;)

After watching that video for the 15th time, I don’t think it was so much luck. The car the van hit went right and the van cut hard left in front of the car that was right of the motorcycle. That van was inevitably going to hit the guard rail and obviously NOT bounce back. All the rider had to do was just go straight. I guess he’s lucky he didn’t panic and ride head on into the van.

Luck had nothing to do with it. His Guardian Angels cleared the way for him. Now he is a crazy ass son of a bitch for riding a motorbike. Skydiving is safer than riding a motorcycle.

it looked like luck but who knows what the guy was thinking
the diffrence between luck and skill is that with skill u think be4 u do something

Great skilled driver, or extreem lucky.
when someone is spinning in front of you, always aim where the car at the moment is (in front of the bike).
also if you suddenly chance lanes whit a bike, while heavy braking, at +180kmh/+112mph. the bike starts sliding.

Why is is it that there is always a camera around when stuff like this happens.

He didn’t remain cool. He froze up.

If you’re scanning ahead like you should be you’d AT LEAST move to the left side of your lane. He didn’t budge.

True, if he did anything else he probably would have been hit but dude didn’t avoid the accident. The accident missed him.

In this case it was better to be lucky than good.

Damn, dude didn’t even look like he hit the brakes. Just kept going straight like do do dooo. Nice!

IF HE HIT THE BRAKES THE WHITE VAN WOULD HAVE POPPED HIM OFF. IF HE SWERVED LEFT, THE COMPACT WOULD HAVE SENT HIM OVER THE BARS & INTO THE AIR.

This was the only way. Glad he remained cool. But I’m sure he got quiet the fright!!!
