GM May Buy Mopar and Eliminate Chrysler and Dodge

Detroit News is reporting that GM may do to Chrysler what Chrysler did to AMC in the 80s. That is, buy them and eliminate them, with the exception of the Jeep brand:
"The others (automakers) will be delighted to have Chrysler just die and take 1.5 million units out of the industry, which is about what the excess is," said Gerald Meyers, former chairman of AMC and now a professor at the University of Michigan. … At Chrysler’s Auburn Hills headquarters, morale is bleak as employees fear huge job losses in any GM deal, while the top bosses installed by Cerberus are expected to leave with fortunes.

I hate mopars they are so fucking over rated!!! Every time a new one comes out I think to my self “hey does that thing got a hemi”, and sure enough it does!!! but I guess if your shitty ass mechanicals, cheap interiors, junk transmissions, and horrible electronics&wiring cant be fixed lets just put a “HEMI” in it!!! Every moron that has ever heard an old car story from a geezer that thought the old hemi was bad ass, thinks that it is the same motor sorry it isn’t . Not that the old hemi in a 1970 hemi cuda is even a bad ass motor have you all forgot about the other REAL muscle cars from 1970??
Just some 1970 car facts:
Chevelle 454 LS6 450hp underrated can you say WHAT HEMI!!
GTO JUDGE not my favorite but better 1\4 mile time than a hemi anything in 1970.
Oldsmobeile 442 come on even an oldsmbeile is faster than a Hemi!!
I don’t like to use the f*** word but even the ford mustang had faster cars than a hemi!
Last but not least the Buick gsX, yes I said BUICK was horribly faster than any mopar peice of shit!!!
but I think if mopar would go down like that It might get to GMs head, I don’t like mopars for a good reason but buying out the compitition sound kind of like a cheap shot when the can overtake diamler chrystler anyday!!!

let’s be realistic. GM barely has enough funds for itself let alone a buy out of Chrysler. It just ain’t gonna happen.

I think that it is time for chrysler to die. Chrysler got bailout money from goverment in heyday then got trouble again and with benz in past. Time is up. Thank you for great inspirastion with design.

At least Ford isn’t involved. Sorry MOPAR people,but who knows it may not happen because back in 1909 GM tried to buy out Ford and it never happened. Good Luck

What?!? NO Viper, no Hemi, NO Ram, No Caravan (hard to think of minivans without the topselling name in the segment), no but-kicking compacts or SRT nameplates. What’s this world coming to? I think Chrysler should desperately seek Lee Iacocca’s help right now. Seems to me they need another k-car to help pull them out of this mess.
