Not Too Early To Start Daydreaming About Winter Wheelin'
By Jen Dunnaway

Watching this Audi wagon spin donuts in a snowy parking lot is getting me all nostalgic for Upstate New York. Man, I used to love doing this in my Eagle when I lived in Ithaca, but here in Seattle you’ve got to go way out of town to get this kind of powder. Oh well. How about you, have you got your favorite winter wheelin’ parking lots scouted out yet?

Same lots every year. Doing donuts in an Astro is so fun. Lately, my wife is even getting in on the fun with her Jeep.

donuts is easy. a 79 delta 88 is more fun. Sliding, slipping, witnessing death and finding dead bodies…well. ya know. 90hp in a dual range 25 year old scoob and 70mph flawlessly in an ice storm floats my boat. after 70, the wipers float
Everything has its serious limitations, ya know what I mean?

I was in college at Ohio State and the parking lots seemed to go on forever.
So winter in Ohio was a blast. Almost tossed my van doing snow donuts! To much fun!

Great video, brought back memories of snowy days and empty parking lots. Don’t seem to have much of either the past few winters.

Winter sucks! Stop reminding its coming closer and closer, we’re trying to live in our own little (perfect?)world here!

I am looking forward to trying out my Jeep in the winter. It should be a good time, though, I doubt I will be doing many donuts:(

No snow in Louisiana. Doesn’t even think about snowing, so winter is like summer, only colder.

You bet! There’s a parking lot a mile down the road that never gets plowed, nothing like plowing through a foot of snow completely out of control!

I live in sunny California so I have never and don’t think I will ever get to do this! Not like I want to.

Jen,
You can still do this in Oregon & Washington.
Just find a bunch of slugs, instead of snow

Awww yes I miss those snowy days. We don’t get much snow here over here on the island but, when we do good times usually ensue. Although, I must admit as I get older I don’t want to go out in it with my car as there are just too many people that “THINK” they know how to drive in the snow!
You can be doing everything just fine and then wammo get struck by somebody else.
