33mpg??? That’s all??? I got two 16yr old Dodge Spirits that will do that, one of them is a turboed R/T model that is still capable blowing the doors off most new sport sedans of the road. My real gas saver though is a 20yr old Ford Festiva that gets 65mpg and I’m not even done tweaking it for better mileage. My goal is to achieve the elusive 100mpg with it. Now build me a new car that can beat that!!!

The fit is has been my favorite new hatchback sinse it came out.
Still wouldn’t trade it for my tank though…

Small cars suck. People can stuff themselves inside little Fits all they want, I’ll just stay comfortable in my nice spacious F-150 cab and guzzle gas.

I saw that ad couple day ago and think it is looks cool (very scionish). My problem with “GUZZLERS BE GONE” slogan at the end. According to that Honda should drop Ridgeline, CRV, Pilot, Element, s2000, etc from the production. There is a lot of VERY COOL not very fuel efficient cars. So, is the marketing geniuses at Honda really want all performance, classic, exotic cars, and trucks to be gone?
I think it is not very thought out commercial.
By the way, comparing to some other cars, Fit might be considered a GUZZLER!

I agree with Jen, let more people use less gas, that just leaves more for the rest of us

i think this ad sucks just like the honda fit and most new cars…..old cars rule….and you would actually be surprised how good mileage some of them get because theyre not weighed down with electronics and safety bullshit like new cars are
