Mercedes C63 AMG vs. Jaguar XF Supercharged: Which Would You Choose?

I am an 06 E55 Amg driver. Have an 02 M3. I tested the Jag, it just proved me that they need a lot of more work to do. I would not take the c63 AMg but I will take any SL 63 or 65 AMG any day.

Odd match up…I’ve driven both…jag not impressive…C63 is a frigg’n luxury hotrod racecar. Definitely the AMG.

I work in a Porsche/Acura/Mercedes/Lexus/Jag dealership…
I’ve driven both cars plenty, plus their other competitors like the M3 Coupe and the IS-F, but these cars are at opposite ends of the segment.

Having said that, the C63 has all the amenities the Jag has (minus a couple of “wow” features like the volume-knob style drive selector and JaguarSense). The C63 pulls it off like a brute, while the Jag does it with elegance.

For now, while I’m young and my heart’s in good condition, I’ll take the C63 – it’s literally the only car that I’ve ever driven that frightened me a little every time.

When I’m 40, but I still want speed, it’ll be XF.

I USED TO WORK AT A JAG DEALERSHIP AND I HAVE GOTTEN TO DRIVE THE JAG. THE COOL PART ABOUT THE JAG IS THAT THE SHIFTER POPS UP AND THE VENTS ROLL OUT WHEN YOU START THE CAR OTHER THEN THAT THE CAR IS A PILE FOR THE PRICE. I WOULD DEFFINATELY GO WITH THE BENZO.

WHOEVER SAID MERCEDES ARE THE WORST CARS EVER IS JUST FUCKIN STUPID…THE C63 AMG WOULD OWN THE JAG ANY DAY PLUS DO ANY OF THE JAGS HAVE A V12 TWIN TURBOCHARGED…I DIDNT THINK SO

I’d take the Jag over C63 AMG any day. The C63 has really ugly front styling IMO, whereas I absolutely love all of the XF’s styling.

the jag. the amg has a really strange looking front end to me. its like it doesnt flow right. too many angles going too many directions.

Being a Benz owner and test driving older jags I would take the C63 any day. Its better in every way,shape and form. jags good if you like a pos rides.

if you really look at the amg it looks like it could be an every day car made by suzuki or something,(hear me out) just look past the mercedes badge and imagine a suzuki badge, it’s really not that hard to imagine. the jaguar looks like a sport luxury. ill take the JAG!

the amg is really nice…like the muscle car of the lux world…but driving a jag is just a whole another experience…so i’d pick the jag….

outside looks, maybe the AMG cause i really dont like those balls on the headlights of the Jag, but inside luxury, ill definitely take the Jag!!!

The benz is lighter, faster n’ stuff, but when you think about luxury and exclusivity, there’s no way a C-class can come close to a Jaguar… I’d take the Jaguar. Even if the benz is better-looking…

AMG all the way. It’s a high-class symbol and it’s no doubt a fast car. Plus Jags are just Fords in disguise.

This is a hard choice… If I got a luxury car I’d want it for what it’s made for – luxury – so I’ll say the Jag. It looks a lot better in my opinion, that is, in real life, not really in pictures.

Not a huge Merc fan in general. Plus the Jag has enough speed and agility to make my physically ill, and you can’t say that about just anything!
