Two Fire Trucks Collide. What are the Odds?
By John Coyle
Editor
Even though it looks like they’re going in different directions, both of these trucks were responding to the same fire. And while it would obviously be tough to hear a siren if your own siren was blaring, you know somebody is going to get their ass handed to them. For more on this crash and the resulting carnage, check out this report from the St. Louis CBS affiliate.

The one driver who had the red light should have at least slowed down and took a look both ways.

I think that the driver coming straight was at fault! Don’t they have to make a 2 second stop if they catch a red light??? He didn’t

I can hear it now, spoken like a teenage boy, “But Chief, that fire truck came from nowhere!” Spoken by either driver.

hahaha there’s NO WAY this was an accident!!! The other engine did a hit and run, or did he stop when he was out the camera’s view???

John, your link goes to WCBS in New York for a story covering a similar accident in NJ back in January.
