Finally, I'm Not The Only One

I just about flipped when I found that someone besides me on CarDomain has an early-80′s Ford Escort that they’re really, really into. Walt’s "Buzz-Bomb" is a basically stock ’82 with the carbureted 1.6L, and he’s contemplating what to do with it now that he’s completed this very respectable Rustoleum paint job. All I know is that I love that home-built custom grille, and I’m trying to get Walt to fab up something similar-but-different for my diesel. Like all Escort owners, he realizes he’s got a pretty modest ride, but as he says: "It keeps me off the streets." Check out his ride page!

LOL the hood pins are an awesome touch. Especially since, um, no one would steal that motor. And yeah, the grill with the cobra snake: ROCK.
