If it Looks Too Good to be True…

Since I’ve spent many hours cruising around Seattle looking for parking, I’ve learned to become overly suspect of totally empty parking lots. Generally, if there aren’t a least a few cars there, it’s because there’s a good reason. Of course, there’s a really great reason nobody is parked in this area, which becomes apparent immediately.

I’d be pissed immediately and would certainly sue for damages. No signs prohibiting parking or access, no barricade or curb to restrict access. Not even bollards.

That driver had no clue until and probably while the car was going off the edge into the water.

if that was an actual road/parking lot he was driving on before hitting the fountain/pond, I’d make the owners of the property pay. That’s way too big of a gapping hole between posts. If it was a walkway he was driving on, tough shit.
