This was a rented car. Several friends that knew they could never afford a hot car got togather and rented it. The driver is in VERY bad shape, he will never be a normal person again. He was the only child of a very loving mom who is by his side day and night. He was a working man did airconditioning work I belive. He mada a poor choice and has severe consequences to pay for it. For all those that are so quick to judge I would like to find the driver that has never done anything that could have hurt someone, talked on cell phone driving, driving tired, everyone makes mistakes, this young man is paying a very high price for his. I would ask everyone with any empathy to say a prayer for this man’s mother. For those that are so quick to judge remember a saying about “glass houses.”

This was in north Fort Worth, in the Fossil Ridge area. I saw this car at a bar/restaurant in the area just before the crash. The owner was being an a-hole and parking sideways across a couple handicapped spots. Feel bad for the passenger, he may not have known what he was getting into.

I’m 22 and drive a DB9, no I can’t afford it, my Dad bought if for me for my University graduation, He’s rich and many of you are jealous. You don’t hear people at my country club talking about revoking poor people’s licenses when we see a mini van crashed. I don’t remember ever reading or hearing comments about money / class when we see photos of crashed tempo’s or caveliers. I would hazzard to guess that a larger proportion of “regular” people cars get crashed than your so called “rich” people cars. There are idiots in every class / race / gender / whatever let that be what it is. If I crash my Aston doing something stupid… it is likely I would do the same if i came from a middle class family and was driving a ford ranger. And to those of you making “rich” people comments… if you win the lottery or commercialize a brilliant idea that makes you milliions, are you going to automatically surrender your licenses? I think not… get over yourselves, don’t let your current lack of cash make you losers.

Last Friday night a Lamborghini Gallardo speeding through a rainy Fort Worth, Texas struck a tree and split in half when the driver lost control after hydroplaning across standing water. The violent accident left the passenger compartment smashed against the tree while the rear half of the car continued on, stopping yards away.

Okay, some of you retards are stupid. ANY car or truck can lose traction in the rain. All top end sports car are going to lack somewhere to keep the weight down, so duh they would rip apart when they hit something at 200mph. So in this case, it’s the driver. To those talking mess about Lamborghini building a stupid car, the Gallardo is WAY fast and can out handle your mommy’s Dodge Grand Caravan in every way imagineable.

Seems like the driver was inexperienced at driving in the rain. Even Indy car drivers have done this. Seems with that much HP you can loose control very quickly, and the car will snap around and put you in the wall so to speak.
Maybe Lambo needs to install an inexperienced driver button. Just wish I had the chance to try one out. Maybe Obama’s spread the wealth idea will filter that down to me.
