        &lt;p&gt;A good tip to go along with this. Make sure that your Heater/AC vents are closed and everything is set to off. 9 time out of 10 they enter your interior through your fresh air vents.&lt;br /&gt;

Another thing I do to keep the musty smell out and mice is place a hand full of dryer sheets on the carpet and seats. This absorbs some of the moisture and puts a nice light scent in the air. It works great for my car which sits for 6 months out of the year.&lt;/p&gt;
