Three Widebody Challengers Headed to SEMA
By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
We’re expecting SEMA to be wall to wall Challengers this year, and Top Flight Topo is bringing three widebody Challengers into the fray. I have a ton of pics of these cars being built after the jump, but you can see/read more at Bad Cop! No Donuts! And of course we’ll try to catch up with Topo at the show.

That’s just got to be the sickest wide body done on a new muscle car I’ve ever seen!!!! “Top flight” work. Keep it going, I know the new camero is going to be sh!tting on every body.

Nice offset on the inside of the rear wheels. I think I am going to install my rear wheels inside out too and be cool like you. That’s why it’s called “reversed” offset.

I guess we still got racist assholes in the world today…how sad i personally like the wide body, it makes it individually unique….trust american cars today need all the help they can get as far as quality goes its gone down the drain! Oldschool american is the only one anyone can vouge for!

Wow, people are so harsh when it comes to innovation, it’s almost like we should just keep things as they are and never try to improve or personalize anything. Hmmm, I personally like the wide body look, If Dodge had designed the car that way from the factory or made a special addition that had the wide body design, some of you nay sayers would actually praise it. Some of you need to RE-LAX!

Don’t talk smack on Mexi’s…especially when it comes to body work. These guys are some of the best in the world no matter what their house looks like. Come to Cali and try and get some top notch work done…you’ll be hard pressed not to find a skilled brown man at the torch. I worked for an old Cholo at a body shop for a couple years and that guy could fix things where most shops would just order a new panel.

I don’t understand? That looks like a heck of alot of work for not much of a noticable difference. How much wider are the quarterpanels now? I wish there was a pic of those wheels on the car before the surgery just too see how much they stuck out

Man do I wish I was hitting SEMA this year so I could see what these look like when finished and glossed up… that shot of the rear right quarterpanel of the black Challenger in progress, with those _huge_ rear tires, looks absolutely droolworthy — wow!

RE: below commenter
Apparently you are still learning how the whole SEMA build thing works. These builders don’t pay for the car, they simply modify them out for all the OEMS, etc.

$40,000 car – $50 house. In the driveway for gods sake! You can afford a 08 Challenger but can’t afford a garage??

widebodies do a better job of making a car look like shit than it does covering the wheels…..and it covers the wheels pretty good
