Jubilant Phillies Fans Flip Car, Owner Wants Help Fixing It

By John Coyle

I was born in Philadelphia, and I remember my parents letting me stay up late to watch the Phillies win the World Series 28 years ago, so I was stoked to see them win again yesterday. But you know how pumped up fans can get out of control. After the game, a bunch of jubilant Philly fanatics swarmed into the street and overturned an innocent car, and unfortunately, its owner doesn’t have the money to fix it. Since his insurance won’t cover the damage he’s set up a blog and PayPal account to help him get a new ride. Head over to Philly Fix My Car for all the sordid details.

try living in football central… the Pro Football Hall of Fame is just minutes from my house, both Canton and Massillon high school football teams have stadiums that make college teams drool, I’m talking at least 15,000 seats, and the list of local celebrities is staggering. The Massillon-Mckinnley game is 120+ years old and is the only high school game hosted by former Ohio State Superstar Chris Spielman and is broadcast and bet on in Las Vegas. Want a thrill visit Stark County, Ohio. It’s a riot, literally…

It never fails. Every year at least a few times, some sports team wins a big game and the moron fans think they need to trash their own fucking town. What sense does that make?
