No Paint! No Seat Belts! No Roof! No Problem!
By John Coyle

There are so many things to love about this rat rod. First on the list? It looks like an absolute nightmare to drive. Seriously, that burled-out mill is probably making more power than half a dozen nuclear plants, and since the windows are only slightly wider than gun slits, visibility is probably great. Upping the ante? There are no seat belts! Of course, this actually might be a good thing, because since there’s no roof, your chance of being "thrown clear" of a wreck are excellent. And the shifter is another story all together—it looks the automotive equivalent of ape-hanger handlebars! Now, I couldn’t see a clutch, but if this thing is a manual, you’d have to be certifiable to get behind the wheel. You’d also probably want to make sure you’ve had a recent tetanus shot. Just saying. No word on who built this badass machine, but I’ll try to determine that after SEMA get started in earnest. Click here for my walk-around video. More pics after the jump.

THIS is the DEFINITIVE rat rod! it’s awesome! get rid of the ergal thing details (or spray them) on the fuel cell, remove the bungee cords and it’ll f*ck everything in front of it!
