First of all Chevy has always been on the fore front in power and handling, especially in the Corvette and Camaro’s. Any real Chevy already has the ability to add HP without too many mods. Chevy Camaro’s have been steadily getting far greater handling each and every Generation. I have a Gen IV and it came with a five link suspension, it has a v6 in it however ready to bolt in v8 hp any day, that is where Chevy has always shined. Building cars and trucks that can easily handle bolt on hp and bolt in v8 when they didn’t come with it. The rear in my Camaro is the same as in the v8 model. So this Camaro shouldn’t need any thing else with the exception of upping the gear ratios. My cousin had one of these camaros and it gripped the road on the strip and on the road at any speed. Great job on the Camaro wish I could afford to upgrade mine. I still love the fact that my six can keep it real against Mustang v8’s with only air intake, plugs, and exhaust mods. I haven’t even upgraded the injectors or computer yet and when she runs heads turn.

Sweet looking ride. Im not saying it wouldnt go 8s in the 1/4 but if it does my hats off. The power is deff there but if it gets to teh ground and hooks. Car looks amazing. 1700 horses and the car still looks like a street car. Im sure if it can be street drivin like they say it handels like a wet dream. Thats what I like. I would like to see a 9 sec pass on my t/a one day in the street trim..

I’d say this car weighs about 3500lbs. 1750hp, let’s see, isn’t that about the same power to weight ratio of some bikes??? Yeah I’ll take it, especially with that killer anniversary style paint job!!!

Q45on22z – why couldn’t you do anything with the chassis? Why couldn’t you set the car up to do something besides drag racing? It seems “it can only go in a straight line” is a 20 year-old (and long-gone) truth that people like you use to try to put down automobiles made by the Big Three. Surely you are aware that if you can change the engine, why not the suspension? Do you really think this company would have invested so much in an engine and not touched the suspension? Surely you aren’t this narrow-minded. The “but it can only go straight line” line shows how naive you are. Beginning around 1974, after the muscle car era had ended, the Big Three began focusing on handling (since their engines had been strangled of power by government standards, the oil crisis, etc.). Really, these companies have been developing good handling cars for decades, yet you seem to be just that far behind the rest of us.

Why put that much horse power in a chasis that cant do anything with it. Maybe go in a staight line for a quarter mile and then put it in a trailer and work on for a week becuase you broke something. also do you require a “super” mullet and a sleeveless metallica t-shirt made of kevlar to drive it.

Holy crap! How do they hold that thing down? What drivetrain stands up to that kind of abuse? A great car indeed. All we need now is a good suspension and plenty of downforce….

That is absolutely incredible… and insane. …chevy people… this is an example of a person, or some people, who just couldn’t stop not even at the lingenfelter corvette making just over 1,000 hp. Crazy. Very very cool car tho.
