All Up In Their Booth: Toyota At SEMA

By Jen Dunnaway

I seem to remember Toyota’s booth being quite a bit more heavy on the trucks last year, but times have changed a lot since then. This time around, the few blimpy Tundras are shoved to the back, and their functionality is emphasized above all else—like this toolbox-laden Ducati-themed race-bike hauler. For the most part, it’s the lifestyle vehicles that are front and center, like the snowboard-toting Venza ASV and a couple of sporty Tacomas, including a baja-inspired rig and the retro hardbody that I blogged previously. The lifestyle theme extends into trendy urban runabouts like the widebody Yaris and the satin-silver RAV4. Overall, great booth. Nothing too gimmicky, I love what they’re doing with satin-finish accents on otherwise shiny cars, and it’s nice to see Toyota pushing something other than their big rigs. See more booth shots below the jump.

It’s actually a V6 RAV4 Performance Sport. Made its debut here at SEMA.
