Poor Aston DB7 Doesn’t Deserve This…

By John Coyle

Editor

Even though I don’t think it’s as hot as the DB9 or the mind-bendingly beautiful DBS, Aston Martin’s DB7 is unquestionably gorgeous. But the wheels on the one in the Center Line booth? Oh. My. God. I’m seriously at a loss for words. "Hideous" seems woefully inadequate, and even "revolting" doesn’t seem applicable. Honestly? The phrase "criminal negligence" keeps popping into my head, and I think that’s probably the best I can do. Anyone sick enough to mount wheels which look like a cross between a torque converter and a food processor blade on this car should be brought up on charges. There are actually two variations of this monstrosity, and I’ve posted close-ups of both after the jump. Look if you dare…

Whats even worse is that it’s in a Rim Booth. I’ve never been a big fan of Center Line Wheels, and this is one example of why. Are they tryin to loose buisness? I hope they slap the person who decided to put wal-mart wheel covers on an Astin Martin. Even worse then Dubs on a mini-van…

I actually like the rims. But doesn’t look right on an Aston. Maybe on on a 6 series BMW but never on an Aston Martin.

Catastrophically fugly, they shouldn’t be brought up on charges, they should have their kneecaps broken and then beaten slowly to death.

Why would you even put rims like on a $100,000 Plus car, or any other car for that matter? Just leave it alone!!!!

Remind me a little of the vented rims from hell that were available on 3rd gen Firebirds, also remind me of some of the fugliest rims ever made… which were on a ‘96 Regal GS I used to own.

Yeah, these rims are terrible. Someone should lose his job for selecting them.
