SEMA Top Ten Trends: Color-Matched Wheels
By John Coyle
Editor
So, it’s not like I’ve never seen cars with color-matched wheels before, but this year, rides rocking this look are everywhere. Seriously, some of the wheel company booths are showcasing enough colors—Giovanna, I’m looking at you—that from a distance, you might actually think they’re representing Walgreen’s nail polish department. Not that I’m complaining—I’m actually really stoked to see more builders exploring the color palate. More pics after the jump.

What’s the fun in any of these if they are never driven & the wheels are too big to turn…!
I like big rims but when they are non-functional WTF! That Challenger is Hideous!!!

I think the last car was the best..except the wheels where a bit too big. Some build for performance and some build for looks. This car is great in the looks department in my opinion. The other cars look corny especially the mustang..it looks to bulky.

The mustang looks nice, the others are so-so… The last charger is seriously ugly…
Could we have a pool for coloured wheels? Colour-matched VS contrast colored wheels?

i didn’t like it in the early 90’s, seems not many others did either as the fad lasted about 3 weeks. Why do these company guys think things have changed so much? I don’t hate some color on the wheels but those blue things are right freakin awful.
