SEMA 2008: Flex-ing Some Muscle In the Ford Booth
Like last year, Ford’s booth was a corridor that took up an entire wall of one convention hall, and it had a swanky showroom feel to it. They were huge on the Flex, which took up quite a bit of real estate, many of them slick custom editions like the searing orange-fade Galpin Auto Sports Flex. At the far end were a number of burly trucks, including the Raptor, a 2010 F-150 with an SVT suspension and optional 6.2L V8. There were some nice old-school touches as well, including this nicely-restored F-series pickup. The reproduction steel Mustang body suspended from the ceiling was a nice touch! And then of course there was the Golden Submarine—more on that in a bit. See more pics from the booth.
