Golden Submarine at SEMA
This little all-aluminum hot rod was easily the most striking vehicle in the Ford booth. The handbuilt body, done by Webb Automotive Art, represents a "modern interpretation" of famed racecar builder Harry Miller’s 1917 Golden Submarine. But it’s running a Ford Racing Zetec ZX3-spec alcohol crate engine, the same ones they use in the Ford Focus Midget series. See more pics after the jump!

Love it, love it, love it!
Not to mention, who needs 5 mph bumpers when the forward-mounted front axle lets your front tires do the job for you?

That must be so awkward to drive, with that long front end. Looks fun anyway.
