Mopar Eye Candy In The ICCE Wheels Booth

By Jen Dunnaway

I loved this trio of brightly-colored modern Mopars on display in the ICCE booth: Charger, Challenger, and Magnum. The Challenger was a George Barris creation—you’ve already seen the other Barris Challenger—and it was built by Sanderson: it had smoked-out headlights and yellow-tinted windows (like the lambo-doored Prius over in the green section, which was also running ICCE wheels). I kind of liked the dirty stock brakes on the pink-on-pink Magnum—they showed that the car at least got driven, and CCE’s Mark confirmed that the car was in fact the daily driver of one of their staff before they decided to do it up as a show car—they ran out of time before they could paint the calipers! All three cars sported the luscious two-tone (or in the Challenger’s case, three-tone) paint that’s been everywhere at SEMA this year—I’m really getting to dig the contrasting finishes that a lot of painters are choosing for their two-tones, and the metallic-blue-over-satin-blue Charger wore it best (I’ll have to do something similar for my Concord!). See all three after the jump.
