Popeye Roadster
Sometimes, nothing hits the spot like a Model A roadster with a flathead V8. This clean little specimen was in the Duplicolor booth—yeah, that cheap paint they sell at Autozone!—and it had a surprisingly beautiful finish: it doesn’t show up so great in the pics, but in person the white had a subtle metallic sheen to it. The Duplicolor reps were talking up their Paint Shop line, 3- and 4-stage systems that allow you to add effects like pearl and metallic. The car was built by Jordan Graham using largely salvage parts. Love the wood trim, love the Popeye graphic. More pics after the jump.

I can’t stop drooling talk about craftsmanship. NICE!

Nothing looks as tough and clean as old-school. What’s the graphics on the seats? Looking at that metal steering wheel makes me cringe a little – somehow all I can think of is what my face would do when it smashes into that thing.
