Tough GTX
By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
I don’t know how I missed this awesome GTX on our site, which, not surprisingly, sets off car alarms everywhere it goes. In general I don’t like the trim on ’69s, but Mark solved that problem by removing it. That flat black paint looks tough!

Fast growing tyre brand GT Radial has released its 9hampiro GTX 60 & 65 directional tread pattern passenger tyres in popular “big six” family car sizes. The Champion GTX is available in the 205/65 R15 size used as standard on Holden Commodore and Ford Falcon. It is also available in a range of other sizes.Until now the choice of directional tread pattern tyres has generally involved the additional expense of also purchasing new, larger wheels for most cars.

When I’m talking Mopar with my friends or with my 3 sons Mark’s GTX and his 1974 Challenger are two of the examples I use to show what happend when Mother Mopar flexed her muscles in the 60’s and 70’s. Anyone would be proud to have this GTX in their garage. Great job Mark!!

that is the front end I was talking about…but it was in a dodge WAGON (my dad owned one, and I could not find a photo ANYWHERE of that front end!) Hack job, most likely, but it was a nice looking mopar wagon…oh, nice gtx.

AWESOME CAR but um flat black = primer? I think it would look even better in gloss black. Keep up the GR8 work Mark! Congratz on being noticed.
