Ok, Ken Block is a great driver, he always has been. It takes balls to not only do what he does behind the wheel, but also pay for almost all of it. In case u didn’t know, Ken Block is the owner of DC shoes. To be able to do what you love as a job, and not have anyone to answer to is the ultimate dream. Hat’s off to Ken.

I’ll need to see a time code before I believe it was done all in real time with multiple cameras. He definately hits the red/white barriers @ 3:53 and you can see the other retakes if you watch closely.

If ever there was a Drifter-X,…Ken Block is it! I had not heard of the Man and his mad machine skills, before viewing this video! In 4 minutes 27 seconds, this guy proved he is the ‘Gym-Rat’ of Gymkhana! If he’s the uncrowned Drift-King of North America,…then it’s time to pass the Crown! It’s due time,…and time is due!

and i bet the car isn’t a rwd. if you know a lil bit about drifting or driving you’ll see that the front tires also burn the tires. look at the steering angle, with this angle it’s impossible to do that with a rwd car. if you have enough experience, money and balls, after a lil bit training, it is a lotta easier with a awd car. you can do this also with a rwd but not with that speed. so i bet everything that this is a awd.

but overall, bad ass driver and car.

ok i could do that, except for a few things…. A: my time would be 30 minutes or more, B: when i would finish there wouldn’t be much of a car left, and C: there would be a dead director and demolished segway on that field, all cones would be down, all walls would be pushed over yeah so he’s F-ing amazing.

to answer tony the new subarus have a power bias adjuster so you can have 50/50 60/40 70/30 ect ect ect so at any time he could possibly have mostly all the power going to the rear wheels

Bluddy ell….. I’ve seen some of Australias best drift racers in action, but have never seen anything like this before. Ken Block is a pure professional and I would give anything to be taught how to DRIFT by him.
Hopefully we all get to view more of his driving videos, in the future.

Man if you want to rag on him like that lets see you do better. One, if you didn’t notice the video said its a practice. two, that helipad wall looked like an old, decrepit piece of crap that would’ve broken apart if a three year old stood on it, let alone an sti drifting close to it. it didnt look to me like he even cosmetically damaged the car so i dont see it as a foul. three, to me it looked like just about the whole course was dirt. i think just about anybody going that fast out of the corner like that would pull that far out when he came out of the helipad. This video is THE SHIT.

i love how this guy is supposed to be “so nasty” but he’s hittin shit left and right. am i the only one that noticed him tear the ass end off on the helipad wall? and then drifting into the dirt in the clip right after that? if he’s got so much control why is he in the dirt 1/2 the video. a waste of 4+ minutes. i could’ve recorded my dog taking a shit and been more entertained.

look carefully at the scene where he spins around inside of the box made with orange and white barriers… when he enters the box just before slamming into the wall the video skips to show him lined up perfectly in the middle, and edited again showing a perfect exit. i wonder how many cars they brought to this shoot, at least 3. anyway ken is the bomb, wish i could see all the footage! the other video of him jumping with snowboarders on the mountain is badass too.

Crazy car with 500+ HP and great driver, but after all that they still have that ANNOYING sound when you leave the door open and your key is in the ignition? (I’m pretty sure the car doesn’t start with a key though)

They didn’t do that all in 1 try. If you watch, there is a camera sticking way out from the left front door at the beginning, then that camera suddeny dissapears between shots and it’s suddenly sticking out the right rear window. Then towards the end it appears on the roof. Still EXCELLENT drifting. Even if it wasn’t all strung into one long trick like they want it to look, all of it was great driving. Wish I could do that.
