Tuner Tesla By Brabus
By Jen Dunnaway
Editor
Brabus got ahold of a Telsa and tuned it out a little bit. While the famous custom house kept their hands off the electric roadster’s mysterious powertrain, they did tart it up with a lot of wing-dings, including neon underglow. Get this: they also added a "space sound generator" that offers you a choice between a fake V8 engine rumble and a variety of Star Wars sound effects to spice up the roadster’s otherwise almost silent powerplant. It all seems a little goofy, especially considering that it’s unclear at this point whether or not the beleaguered Tesla will ever get on its feet. But hey, it’s got underglow, so it has to be cool. **whats the point of adding sounds? Thats like chicks with padded **bra’s. False advertising. I think it is fine, as is. (no padding!) **Ha.
**Anyway.. I think it would be cool to take off and beat someone in **a race with a silent running car. Them hearing you hit the **throttle, gives them the ok to go. Silent would give you a better **advantage.
I like the way that was put!!!

Looks good, but probably could have used a few more Carbon Fiber body work, along with some black track-style wheels. Oh well, looks better than any other Tesla I’ve seen!

if tuning meant just adding some underglow and stupid sound effects, they shouldn’t have touched it at all…

haha wow to think i could be reliving the good ole star wars days with a cool looking ride like this lol. But isnt it just a Lotus Elise with different body work and some type of Electric Engine?

Making my car sound like an X-Wing might be pretty cool.

There’s nothing 1995 about this ride… except for maybe the underglow.
