Stretch And Suicide Doors On A C4 ‘Vette

I’m not so sure that the custom treatment on this ‘87 Corvette is the best possible thing for the car’s appearance, but the mods clearly do wonders for leg-room. Actually, with the extra accessibility made possible by the doors, this quite possibly the world’s best ‘Vette for old people. They’d probably want to retire someplace sunny, though, because the car doesn’t have a top or windows. But the seller seems to think it’s worth something—he claims it won first place at this year’s Detroit Autorama, and has it listed on eBay for $12,000 with only one bid, reserve not met. Take a look!

Craziest thing to do with a Vette! No top, no windows, and you can’t open the rear doors without opening the fronts first. What a crazy design!

Go to http://www.familyvettes.com there was a link on the ebay page, hard top was shown. It looked like the ugliest limo I have seen! Don’t get me wrong I love Corvettes! But this defeats the purpose, I’ll take a new G8 GXP when they come out or get a CTS-V.

Yikes. This was probably the Corvette’s worst model (as for looks). Stretching it, makes it even worse!. Try drifting in that one!

It’s not as bad as the pre-production Camaro 3-door. It came so close to being built, it isn’t even funny. The Vega was built in its place.

well sedans aren’t my thing… neither are suicide doors, but it seems it was done pretty nicely, and the interiors not to shabby. again sedans just aint my thing, but i can appreciate hard work and uniqueness
