Unlucky Car Gets Nailed by Giant Spool of Cable

By John Coyle

Editor

There are so many awesome things about this video. First, there’s the obviously doomed nature of the whole endeavor. There’s also the happy spool of cable crashing through the glass without so much as a wobble, the stunned workman who’s apparently knocked down by the sound, the seemingly unflappable dude on the cell phone—who has no visible reaction to being nearly killed by a runaway spool of cable—and finally, there’s the forlorn sound of the car alarm in the parking lot, which lets us know that this unfortunate incident has reached its conclusion. Enjoy.

I agree that this looks faked, set up.

Don’t reckon, I’ve seen dumber things done. This is what happens when you cut corners. People get to laugh at you.

So Setup. You would never wheel a spool of wire like that into a building. You’d run through conduit or on a spooler in a truck…

So Fake…

I guess it’s my computer, but it played but there was no audio or video. I’ll see if I can get it to work later.
