SEMA is the best trade organization I’ve experienced in my 50-year career. The SEMA SHOW is similarly the BEST. However, I must take exception to whomever within SEMA having named the new CAMARO “Show Car of the Year.” It is the ugliest dog that General Motors has yet created. Granted, the alleged options offered, if and when available, are notable. But to load them behind a front end that would “make a freight train take a dirt road on a rainy night” is obscene. The above opinion was voiced by many of the exhibitors and buyers that I encountered yast year and this year.

I didnt attend SEMA for the first time in 10 years, so I’ve been going through a bit of withdrawal the past two months. Now that my rehab is hearly complete, it doesnt hurt quite as much to view coverage of the event. The 80′s-era X Prize Fox Mustang is a personal favorite (always wanted one)and the Vivid racing EXO X is a pretty sick sport compact. But my favorites have to be the ICON FJ43 and the old School Skyline. My family had a two-door Datsun 510 and the Skyline really reminds me of it *sniff-sniff*. Long live SEMA
