Roger and his father raced with me last year in La Carrera Panamericana. He is a very good driver and it was too bad he was disqualified last year and taken out of the competition only to be allowed to run in exhibition class. I am sure he would have done very well had that not happened. What I like best about him was he made no excuses and took his medicine like a man. For the record his engine is 550 horse and I seem to recall they had to change their engine one nigt as well. My Church is very involved in the racing scene. We currently have one Super Stock at Evergreen Speedway #70 Jeff Knight, ME and my Hornet and hopefully they will sponsor my drift car: #93 Kyle Broullett, and the best car is their Lacarrera car. They have a ’53 Studebaker that has the full drivetrain out of a Super Stock. It is about 700 hp and it SCREAMS. Roger and his dad Daryl drive the Lacarrera car.
