The Grassroots Motorsports $2007 Challenge winning Cheaparral Racing Corvette is on eBay! The matte black Vette comes with twin turbos and an independent snowmobile-powered M1 Abrams tank sucker fan. So do you think it’s worth more than $2007? All proceeds of the sale go to the United Way, which is pretty darn cool. Thanks to Sean for the tip! eBay

GTwildfire, this car was made by a bunch of engineers who knew what the were doing and the results prove it. Sometimes you should just take it in rather than play the know-it-all.

He got the skirts all wrong though. Those shopping cart wheels will come off… no doubt about that.

He should have done exactly what Chapparal did… plastic skirting on slides. Worked well enough that the 2J could stick to the ceiling upside-down. I’m NOT kidding.

I would like to see the guys receipts, there is no way he did all that for under $2007, plus the cost of the car.
