Ford’s Way Forward

Ford just released their plans for the future as presented to Congress today. The document reviews the many changes Ford has made to their structure prior to the banking crisis and asks for a 10 year, $9 billion loan subject to TARP conditions to help ride out the current storms. I’m going to plow through all 33 pages of it tonight—we all should, if only to better understand one of the companies that makes the machines we so love.
