I do like the rear bumper. I think the muffler is alright too. But other than that, no good.

You know with a little work, it could look way better… just blend the rear wheel covers better with the body so they acutally kind of flow with the body, and shave that door handles. I kinda like it, at least its getting away from the cookie cutter econobox look. And you cant say 45 mpg is a horrible thing, right?

The rear wheels covers look hideous. But I guess the point is making it more aerodynamic like the rest of the body kit for even better fuel efficiency. I also think the fart can is too big and ugly, but it might release a bit of power to make it more efficient too.

alot of people don’t realize that that bodykit isn’t for style like most cars but for better aerodynamics.

Front bumper looks ok, back bumper looks ok, the design in all is ok, but the wheel covers in the back look stupid, And over all i think it looks stupid. Its a prius, built to save gas and the earth. Nott to be in the next fast and the furious.

I actually own an ‘05 Prius. I “decided I would like the design because of it’s overall efficiency. It actually holds 4 adults more comfortably than my 98 Blazer. I have had to learn how to drive this car to obtain more MPG than anyone else I know with a hybrid. I have had to increase the tire PSI to over 40, I drive at 55 most of the time too. And I can prove I get 52 MPG. In fact, ladies… If you all drove at 55 in stead of 60, 65, 70, 75 or (my hair is on fire) 80+ you would all experience better mileage. I dare you. Just give it a try for one tank. then imagin you could be driving a car with keyless entry, bluetoot phone system, Voice activated GPS, and get over 50 MPG. Performance to me is measured by MPG not MPH. After all… Most of you drive faster than the legal speed limit anyway.

Not all of us hate the Prius cause it’s green. I personally hate the Prius because it’s goddam UGLY. They could make a green car that’s a hell of a lot better looking but nooo… for it to be efficient it has to be ridiculously short, narrow, tall (can’t figure that one out) or basically compete with a dumpster when it comes to looks.

And as one auto exec put it, “Car companies aren’t about to build the most aerodynamic fuel efficient car that no one will buy.” Personally when it came to my daily driver, I shoved style aside and started working on squeezing out fuel mileage begining with installing a custom body pan. Function before form. Driving a Festiva to work everyday does get boring. Even a Geo can out run me, but that’s ok, cause that’s more gas I can put into my Mustang and other toys on the weekends.

I’m here because i’m an automotive fan, but I like badass vehicles. And quite frankly no matter which way you like at it, the prius just isn’t badass. There is no badassedness about it. And that, my friend, is why i would never buy a prius. Maybe a tesla if they get their drivetrain together, but not a prius.
