I highly doubt there will be a Z-Tune model of the R35. I could see an S-Tune, or possibly even an R-Tune, but not another Z-Tune.

I believe it was made under the knowledge that it would be the last of the “Skyline GT-R” breed, therefore it was called Z…Tune. Thus bringing in a new breed of cars without the Skyline moniker.

The real gem is going to be the Z-Tune, which will come out in the end of the model cycle of this GTR.
Too bad the V-Spec won’t be faster in a straight line, but it will be faster around a track.

I own a Gtr myself and would say this is a total waste of 100K$ ffs i would bet a gtr with 30k$ worth of mods would wip this car any day.

The aftermarket will make a faster, lighter, quicker, and better handling car for a lot less. This year at SEMA there were 24 GT-R’s. Most had minor mods, but soon we will see some GT-R’s putting down some real power.

You my friend, are incorrect. Most V-Spec’s from the past didn’t offer substantial performance gains, and this is no exception.

And as for GM, all it takes is a look at a standard C6, and a ZR1, to know that their performance differs greatly.

The new v-spec will offer substantially better performance than a regular GTR.
