This is just bad, makes the car look old, and that they doing this to try make the car look hip.

That just looks awful, why would any one want to do that to their car.

I think Highspeedhijinks might be onto something. This is fishy. The Cobalt is kinda newish for someone to have made it into a beaterz.com showpiece and the front has gotten the treatment for the beginnings of a rally car.

At the same time the gold steelies with the way-too-generous plastic overlays is screaming out to the contrary.

I think if the car was being prepped for real they’d have started shaving weight by now but it has a complete interior.

My guess is it’s not being set up for the track. Might have been before owned by this guy but something tells me coincidence, budget and taste are why it looks the way it does.

wow… It looks like he just aged that car 10-15 years. I admit to even owning some vehicles in awkward conditions like that, but they were already beat up… Well, at least I’ll know what the every other Cobalt will look like in 2015.

Note we (East Tennessee) have ZERO vehicle inspections. You would not believe some of the odd contraptions you see rolling down the road.

This is not the worst I’ve seen! If I get a chance to take a picture of the CRX with 5 rally lights mounted on the front I’ll post it then you can call that hideous!

This guy obviously builds race cars or has a friend on a race car team. Those are all the fascia components they use on dirt cars up here in NY. Plus that custom built light bar for his rally lights tells me has bigger plans for this car. I dont think hes justs some “ricer”

You know what the worst thing about this is? Someone actually took the time to re-do that whole front end. I can’t actually think of a reason of why you would do that….
