Wangan Midnight Movie

I’m sure just about everyone knows about Initial D. So what about Wangan Midnight? If you don’t know by now, Wangan Midnight is an extremely popular comic from Japan, which features an S30 240Z (instead of the AE86 panda Trueno in Initial D) and wangan/highway racing. So I was browsing through one of my favorite AE86 forums, Club4AG, and found this thread, which says that they are making an actual Wangan Midnight movie! Cool! If I’m not mistaken they already made a Wangan Midnight movie back in the early 90′s. Only released in Japan as far as I know. But anyways, I’m down for a Wangan Midnight movie. The Z is amazing and the Blackbird is badass

The Porsche is not an arch rival. It’s merely the most serious opponent. The Devil Z vs. The Blackbird if I remember correctly.

Well they made a mistake. The Testarossa is white, not red.

I’m pretty sure that is a photo from the Best Motoring Wangan Midnight test.

I love Wangan Midnight, but if it was anything like the HongKong production of Initial D, it’ll be subpar.

Hells yea! I’m down for some S30/porsche racing… I’m vauguely familiar with WM, isnt the porche the archrival of the S30 hero car?

Actually, I’ve never heard of either. Not surprised.
