Auto Bailout Dead?

I am a democrat and have no use for unions. Let’s see them for what they are which is nothing more than legalized corruption. The fact still remains that the union was offered an out and they refused it. If that doesn’t epitomize everything that is wrong with unions then I don’t know what does. Please, please, please, do not equate unions with values in this country. Just because good ol’ boys came up with the idea doesn’t make them sacred. Times they are a changin’ and getting rid of unions would my first recommendation in order to bring costs of many, many goods and services down. I have to get off my soapbox now because this nonsense could keep me rattling on forever. ciao!

Republicans knew that the UAW would never make the concession of matching non-union wages, at least not until the current contract expired.

Notice the relative ease the banks, a much more failed industry – and one infinitely much more expensive to bail out – they got their money though. Did Republicans say banking salaries (NOT CEO salaries) but banking WORKERS had to take pay cuts????

thank you dave. its nice to hear someone speak some sense once in a while. i love how the sheeples tend to miss the obvious. not that a bailout is the solution to saving an inevitable failing business, BUT, just for the record, a deal was offered and as usual, the stupidity and greed of the UAW refused it. got that? want to keep your jobs? then work for a more reasonable rate! what do you think got the industry in the straits they are today?? wow, amazing to me how more people just don’t get it.
