How To: Self Addressed Stamped Envelope

By Ryan Porter

IN-N-OUT Editor

With all the free sticker requests coming in, it’s apparent that we need to explain what a SASE is.  Look at all these envelopes we’ve received without a SASE!

Full tutorial after the jump!

To send us a self addressed stamped envelope you will need the following:

2 envelopes
2 stamps
CarDomain Address
Your mailing address

So here is how it works.  First, address one of the envelopes with the CarDomain Sticker address and place a stamp on it.

Next, address one of the envelopes with your address and place a stamp in the upper right hand corner.

Next, fold the envelope with your address and stamp on it into a small square and place it in the envelope addressed to CarDomain Sticker.

Now, seal that envelope up and send it off!

OTHER HELPFUL HINTS:
-Don’t seal the envelope that we will send the stickers back in
-We prefer the peel and stick rather then having to lick the envelopes
-Don’t just send us a stamp, we don’t have time to address your envelope

I love the picture that has the envelope saying “your name, your address, your city..) Its so messed up that you have to explain that part.. But on the up side, its probably good that you did. Thats another 250 envelopes that AREN’T going to come in wrong..

It is funny that they had to do a whole DIY on how to send an SASE, but you now there will be that one person who asks the big question…What’s an SASE?
But anyway cool stickers!

SASE sent with an IRC coupon. I hope it’s not too much trouble to cash the IRC for a stamp for the return trip back to Canada. My post office doesn’t sell U.S. stamps so an IRC was my only choice.

Oh, I do have one question regarding this. How big are the CarDomain stickers? I want to know so I know how large of an SASE to send so that the stickers fit inside without folding them. I hate creased stickers (yuck!). If anyone knows the size of the stickers please come to my page and let me know. Thanks.

Wow. I’m baffled. This gives me a baaaad feeling about the future of our country if that many people can’t even figure out how to send a SASE. What will they ever do when they need to do something important.
