GM Heritage Going on the Block at B-J

By Katherine Helmetag

The Lansing State Journal is reporting that GM will weed out the Heritage Collection and auction off up to 250 cars at next month’s Barrett-Jackson event. Before you freak out, the Heritage Collection is huge, and has been through several reductions in volume in the past. Mercifully, they usually manage to keep the cool stuff. However, the Ransom E Olds Museum in Lansing plans to fight to keep the “Darth Vader” 1985 Cutlass that resides in its gallery. I don’t recall seeing a GM Heritage banner on the windshield of that car during my last visit, so hopefully they can keep it. It’s wicked. For the rest of you, get out your checkbooks.

The RE OLDS Museumowns the car. IT can not be auctioned off. I own the only other 1985 FE3X Darth Vader car

If you had the money, you could pick up some one-off vehicles in that list. How awesome, truly collectable cars.
