Dubbed Golf

By Speedhunters

Car Culture At Large

At first I thought it was a Photoshop but looking very closely I realized this was the real deal. Spotted at the Racer86 blog I was reminded at how good the MK5 Golf could look like. Not sure how comfortable the ride would be, but when you want to look cool you will have to sacrifice.

Waitaminute- educate my behind- I thought “dubbed” meant a car riding on something 22″ or bigger- did I miss something?
Oh, and I’m a Ford guy, but I like any car that is stock and good looking, or modified and done well. Just an FYI-let’s keep it friendly here, eh? Isn’t there enough crap going on in the world without car guys bitching?

Yeah, that’s real ‘cool’ alright.

The car is on airbags, and I continue to enjoy the fact that on a car customization web site people hate on others cars sooo much. The Ford fan doesn’t like it, probably because it wasn’t named after a horsey. And Bob, are we looking at the same picture? That looks nothing like a roller skate.

I’ve definitely seen worse, but the red of the tails vs. the red of the rims disturbs me. Also, the zero clearance, I assume it lifts before moving and lastly I wonder if it’s one of those bouncy low riders I laugh at on the highway, pushing its occupants to the point of kidney failure.
