The Daikoku (Yokohama)
By Steve Neill
Steve Neill
Most diehard Japanese car enthusiasts know about the Daikoku, which is a parking area under the bridges connecting the Kanjosen highway to the Tomei highway. This relatively small space is a truckstop during the day, and a party zone at night. Everyone is welcome, and although I just visited it, somehow I didn’t take any pictures. However I did find some photos I thought I would share, as well as an interesting video. Take a look, and if you’re ever coming off the Wangan and looking for something to check out, these guys know the answer to any car question, and know how to have a good party, too.
