Blake's '69 Continental
By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
We saw a ton of cool cars when we dropped by Northwest Auto Salon last week. One of them was Blake’s new ’69 Lincoln, which he was in the middle of wet sanding. Check out his new 22″ wheels after the jump. And stay tuned for a lot more pics from our visit.

This was a rare year. They still had the suicide doors, but the convertible top was no longer available.Good looking car.The bigger rims also allow for bigger brakes.Pretty much a necesity on bigger FoMoCo products.

yeah those spokes are perfect for that car. I loved that model ’cause the front clips are wide across the top and the hood is small, the chrome top edge along the body, the suicide doors and opposed door handles, and generally the whole form of the car.

Its really apparent on that last shot where has been wetsanded and what is still original paint. Stay tuned for a further writeup by me as I address the interior, wheels, lowering kit etc. I should be building a ride page soon!
