The 1916 flat bed truck was designed for freight delivery to and from the railroad
stations. This was still the era of horse and wagon delivery and roads were poor
outside the city. I have two similiar trucks a 1914 and 1925 Wilcox made in Minneapolis.

I was just at the Heritage Center today. Im a student at Northwood University and a member of their TAG (The Automotive Group)Group. We were invited to tour the facility and learn more about the center. Our guide said that a select few cars, mostly one off customs, SEMA cars, and some select collectibles were to be auctioned off. The guide insured us that no more were to be auctioned and that they are selling them because they can. Their selection is getting bigger and they are rotating certin cars in the facility. All of the really nice collectibles are still there like the Mako Shark and Manta Ray, the Corvette Indy and Aero, the Y-Job, LeSaber concept, Firebird I, II, and III, along with many other first cars, last cars, and rare collectibles. All-in-all, the Heritage Center still has around 200 cars in the building and they plan to keep a huge chunk of them.
