Double Enders

It’s always fun to point and laugh at promotional vehicles like these that join two front halves of a car, back to back. After all, that’s the point of them, to attract attention. But how often does somebody ask, “Why?” and expect an answer? As Red Greene said back in the 80s after he chopped up a Chrysler K-car for a skit, It’s the poor man’s solution to All wheel drive, all wheel steering, and if you duck tape the back halves, you got a handy portable garden shed. The whole skit is on youtube:
