OoooO and OSO ur chevelle is niceee as hell man. Like i said I love the work people put into their cars and cars in general. A chevelle ss, a 1968 gt500, a 1967 camaro, a charger or a 1967 gto would make me a dam happy guy but so would a twin turbo japanese spec supra, or a 1999 v-spec r34 gtr, or a nicely done nsx, and the dream would be a mclaren f1 lm ….I LOVE CARS in general. I love going to the daytona 24 hours and watching only 10 out of 56 cars by the end of the race or watching the dakkar rally , or drivers risk their lives at pikes peak, f1 cars drive at 230mph+ like its ntn, watch a merc clk-gtr take off at le mans, a toyotas gt1 engine start a ferraris 333p uniques engine sound a mustangs v8s growl …I like cars all types respect all types I just dont like how peopel bash on em lik muscle cars are the best when theyre just not if ur gonna come talk sht then dude talk about a mclaren f1 and ill stfu cuz I wont have anything to compete against it other than that evry other car below that category has some type of competition.

I believe the reason for that is… IT’S A DAMN MOVIE PEOPLE!!!! Like it. Hate it. We all h ave our own oppinions. Most people who build/have built, a muscle car do it for either show or straight line go and I know there are a few built for the curves. Most Euros or Asian cars, now days are built for the curves. So comparing the two is comparing apples and oranges. Will an EVO woop my ass on curves probably, but youre not going to catch me doing that shit so. As for whats better, it depends on your flavor. I’ve had a 97 Civic with a turbo’d d16y8(single cam) that beat down so many new age muscle I lost count. But I’ve also beat down more rice in my 66SS 87elco than should be legal. Basically, a car is only as good as you build it, no matter where it’s from.

Oh yes, people rap music is just as shitty as every other genre of music or have you not turned on a radio lately.

first off chuck is a retard. The only way you can compare a 2 liter motor to a 5.0 mustang aint by how much power each liter is making. The only way a 2 liter motor can make i guess what you think is power is spooling a turbo pull the turbo off and ya got nothing. Now for instance take the stock 390 outta a 1962 galaxie. STOCK it made around 300 hp a silly sounding turbo lancer makes only 350 hp. I mean its pathetic take em back to japan and keep em there i dont want that crap here lol Its funny when they put big mufflers on em and i go out wit my 289 in my fairlane and beat on the imports like they are nothing, o wait they are nothing haha.

First of all chuck your right a evo gets 150 hp per liter spooling a turbo, pull the turbo off and what do ya get? A slow ass import and your 350z is probably 30k dollars and the mustang has less than half of that. Yes the z is nice but get a american and who would want a 2 liter anyways they are silly ricers. The stock 390 in a galaxie back in 1962 had more stock hp than a turbo lancer!!! so before you complain about shit talking compare all american cars fagget not just the mustang and your z and the lancer. Have you checked and made sure that was the case? i have a hard time believing that someone would allow the their original car to be smashed up for a movie. I seen the “making of” of a lot of car movies and most of those cars are shells or just enough of a car to do waht they need it to do for a shot. i have a seriously hard time believing that someone would allow a GNX, a car that they made a seriously low amount of and even already fucked up goes for 10 grand still, to be mangled givin that fact that there are still a shitload of Regals around that ppl are leaving in junkyards. i can’t believe that is the case… I won’t believe it…

I won’t pay to sit and listen to rap, no matter how good the movie is. The lame music ruins it, and also tells you there’s no complicated plot. It would be cool though just to see Freiburger’s F-Bomb in a movie! Did I see Clint Eastwood’s Gran Torino? (1:30) If I buy a ticket to see this film, I will feel as if I smashed those original quarter-panels myself.

Hot Rod magazine compiled a list of the top 40 car movies and reviewed them all, and the only Fast & Furious in the list was ranked last.

In the list, Hot Rod makes comments as only car guys would, like with ‘Two-lane Blacktop’ – “The only movie ever in which a character stops to buy a rebuild kit for a ’70 Quadrajet”. I nearly tear’d up when I watched that part!

By the looks of the list, accurate AND entertaining car movies will continue to be a rarity. If this latest F&F is really entertainment, it is an embarrassing reveal about the general public. To a car-guy, it is simply more gut-wrenching destruction and senseless trashing of seemingly irreplaceable collectable vehicles, set to music that is normally heard coming from cars that have trunks filled with huge speaker cabinets and seats covered in glossy clear vinyl.

Car movies with angry rap soundtracks seems to perpetuate the trend that these movies have to be about sappy turf battles with mandatory death and destruction. Personally, I’d rather be ’2 Fast 2 Be Furious’!

Ridiculous car physics and stupid drama, plus senseless destruction of extinct sheet metal makes this film a loser. It looks barely better than the latest ‘Death-Race’.

Why can’t we just have movies about the joy of speed and horsepower, with accurate depictions about owning muscle cars and building hot rods, without destroying them? ‘The World’s Fastest Indian’ was a pleasant suprise of a movie about speed and personal triumph. The ‘Bucket List’ would have still been a great film without smashing muscle cars! Damn you Hollywood!

What about a hot rod reality show? Maybe Hot Rod Magazine could do a Power Tour documentary with some behind-the-scenes look at how the Power Tour is put together and include stuff that happens on the road, PLUS the racing and dyno pulls! What do ya think, Rob? Or maybe have everyone send in video that they shot during the tour, then Hot Rod could edit and compile it all! I think it would work. Hell, who would have ever thought that people would sit at home and watch car auctions on TV?

you know, the first three movies were crap. you could tell they were crap from the previews, and yet there are so few “car movies” that come out any more, i still go and see them. all three, crap, knew it, went and saw them anyway. can’t figure it out. in the last film, after they put the nissan motor in the shelby mustang (like that was supposed to be some kind of simple solution to the mustang not having a drive train), i told myself i wouldn’t watch another one of these things. and yet i know that my wife and i are gonna go see this one, probably just because we both love the f-bomb (i’m a hypocrite again, now, cuz i usually cant stand camaros, but we love the f-bomb. again, cant explain it.). i think i just blew my own mind. wtf do i stand for? lol
