So my new rims from Velocity Motoring came in yesterday, and I gotta say I’m pretty impressed. These are the new two-piece v715s, they are 19 x 8.5 ET45 and I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to use a shoe horn and some Crisco to get these in my tiny wells! They were an awesome deal and I’m definitely happy with the packaging, plus they only took four days to get here. I think I’ll run 225-35-19s on these. What do you guys think?

Its definitely going to be interesting getting them fitted but im pretty sure that with the 45MM offset and 225 tires we should be ok.

If u think that’s a lot of rim I’ll post a pic of an r32 come spring from my work he’s a VW tech and it looks like if he hit a pebble the tire would pop. But it’s away for the winter.

Thats a lot of wheel for your little GTI. Hope you paid attention to all the tire stretching fender pulling threads, lol.
