Rusty Hood Trend

By Rob Einaudi

Editor-in-Chief

As far as I can tell it started with the VW crowd, but now it’s spreading to the Honda tuners, too. Anyone know what’s going on here? And what do you think? Like it, hate it, indifferent? I’ve got a ton more pics after the jump. Oh, and if you want to do it to your car, here’s how!

As a VAG[Volkswagen Auto Group] driver, I think this is a pretty sick styling technique, all though, I do think on the new models (like the black and white Mk4s above) just look ugly. You can tell that its intentional, but the rest of the style of the car doesnt fit that rusted motife. Now, the blue Mk5 on the other hand, that looks fucking sick. haha. But yeah, I dig the look, but the rest of the car should follow suit, in my opinion.

I’m all for the concept of doing your car how you want it and i’m not gonna go tell somebody that’s doing this that it’s stupid because it’s their choice, but none-the-less, In my personal opinion i think this is one of the oddest trends yet, i love vws and apparently it’s their crowd that started this thing? The only one of these cars that i think looks good is the MKII Jetta 2-door second from the bottom. That’s still sexy ;)

Really unfortunate that someone would intentionally remove really nice looking paint in an effort to make it look like crap. That pearl white VW is a perfect example.. it looks like it had a gorgeous paint job on it.. not any more. The whole point of ‘rat rods’ is that they were cobbled together with old stuff that was laying around, with more emphasis placed on function than form.. they didn’t TRY to make them look like crap.. that’s just how they came out. These guys who are putting effort into making their cars look like crap are obviously an egg or two short of a dozen.

These aren’t rat-rods. They’re mice-rice.

I would sport that, if its done right it can look OK, for a day or a shoot or w/e. but not everyday use.

it was also discussed in this forum

[...] Recently, I came across a new car trend on culture garage. At first I didn’t really believe this could be real, but the more I think about it, the more it makes sense- it’s completely rebellious, guaranteed to piss their folks off, totally different and original, and in some cases when the rust is “well done,” it almost looks cool. Almost. I mean come on, paint is so 2008. More examples » [...]

Rust is ugly and the cancer of cars. I do not approve.
It quickly makes your car look like a $400 beater.

Hmm, interesting didn’t know that. You could be the first to do it out there then!

kauaiboy86
Feb 17, 2009 at 9:47 pm

that must be real cool to see,i wish they had that kinda car shows here but here everything is either dropped or lifted.thats about it no real fancy things like hydrolics.i need to goto a mainland car show.o by the way i just put my other car up,check it out.

Josh
Feb 17, 2009 at 1:03 pm

Hey Kauaiboy ~ I would do it if I had a truck, but it’d be one of the last mods I’d do. I lived in Phoenix, AZ. where lowriders and minitrucks are popular. That’s when I got interested in custom cars & trucks. I’d see trucks with crazy bed lifting systems, like the bed lifts up in one stage, shift side to side in another stage, then it starts spinning – all while the truck itself is dancing around on hydros! Most them had huge sounds systems in the bed and candy paint!

It just goes to show that you can’t fix stupid. LMAO how dorky!

kauaiboy86
Feb 16, 2009 at 1:53 pm

that must have been pretty cool to see,i would do that if i was goin for a show truck look.add hydrolics to the bed so u can lift n tilt it in any direction.what about u…would u do that

Josh
Feb 16, 2009 at 8:25 am

Nice idea. I was once at a gas station filling up and this big lifted bow-tie pulled into the pump across from mine. Before he got out, I heard this hydraulic actuator go off. I looked over and the frot of the bed started lifting up! He had to lift his bed to get to the gas tank plug! I was like, huh…would ya look at that…

kauaiboy86
Feb 15, 2009 at 11:22 am

i seen a few diesel 4×4′s here but i wasnt too fond of it.especially on a short bed but if i had a diesel i would do it.i think that it got noticed more was cause of the 1 truck in transformers. i actually thought about cutting mine after the rear axle or making it come out of the body

Josh
Feb 13, 2009 at 9:50 am

Thanks! Their just ideas on the canvas in my head for now! Don’t know how you feel about it, but have you thought of routing exhaust stacks up and out from behind the cab? Always thought that kinda completed the lifted, off road look.

kauaiboy86
Feb 12, 2009 at 7:22 pm

hey it might actually be cool, atleast you’d be original.

Josh
Feb 12, 2009 at 12:20 pm

Tell me about it! I meant to say this earlier, but No, I don’t have a page here yet, I plan on starting one when I get what’s coming to me. I think it’d be cool to lower the seats and chop the top, then put some vintage artileries with fat white walls and put side discharge exhaust pipes on it, don’t know how realistic these ideas are, but I thought it would be something different – definately nothing I’d ever seen out there!

Feb 11, 2009 at 7:55 pm

dam well if u look at the bright side atleast its only the rim n tire n it didnt cause u to get into an accident n bang a wall or something.u got a page here?as for my plans ima lift it atleast 6″ n put 35″ tires.some eng. mods and maybe big maybe do lambo doors.

Feb 10, 2009 at 9:15 am

Hi Kauaiboy86. Weather is shaping up! I’m in DFW of North TX. I’ve got a 1st gen XB. Waiting on a set of steelies to replace my 18″ TRD’s. Had some rim/tire problems in December, 2 flats in 2 days, blew $700+ on tires, swerved to miss a steel beam in my lane & clipped it with the front/right rim! The lip/tire is all gowged and banged up, still holding air though! I’ve heard the lip is repairable. When the steelies arrive, I plan to get outer rim rings and baby moon center caps to cover the lugs. Maybe then I’ll take some pics and post, it looks kind of a like a beater right now, but I love it! Nice Silverado, what are your plans?

josh is right, zack using pearl harbor as a justification not to get foreign cars is just plain old retarded.that happened a life time ago and is done with.us here in hawaii dont even use that to have a grudge with them, hell most of us have foreign cars and like josh said most crap is foreign made.besides why would you use pearl harbor as a reason when youre not even from hawaii or have family here so it didnt even affect you in anyway.get over yourself

Oh I sense much hate in the blog ;-) but in all seriousness that most of those cars look horrible but the BMW at the end pulls it of well enough.

Josh
Feb 5, 2009 at 9:21 am

You know what Zack? First off you’re confusing Japan with China, so open up your high school economics book to get your government type correct. Second, it’s ignorant to say Japan is responsible for the ruin of the American economy, America is the responsible for the ruin of the American economy. Almost everthing you own is made in Japan, you know why? FREE MARKET, A BETTER PRODUCT, and here’s the kicker, AMERICAN COMPANIES CAN’T AFFORD TO PAY FOR “MADE IN AMERICA!” If you’ve got a job, I would assume you would already know this by now!!! And third, if the American auto industry would actually invest the time and money and manufacture their autos the same way as Japan, maybe the Big 3 would see a rise in trust from the American consumer. Don’t make yourself sound more like an idiot by bringing up Pearl Harbor, apparently you’re still stuck in ’40s. There, my rant is over with…

ian
Feb 4, 2009 at 3:20 pm

That is just about the dumbest thing I have ever seen. Maybe it works if the rest of your car is a beater or a rat rod. Other wise you just look like a trendy douche bag.

Feb 4, 2009 at 1:09 pm

this makes u wanna ask yourself just how far up their butt do they have their heads and what kinda of drugs are they on.this is just plain old stupid and a waste of time and money.let me get this straight youre gonna put alot of hard work and effort into making a car cherry just to put a rusty hood on it?i guess if u was dropped on your head as a baby it might be nice. FYI rust does spread so that means it will eventually mess the rest of your car up.but hey if thats your thing go for it……what are these guys gonna come up with nxt oooh i know lets just throw acid on your car and go for that look or how bout even drilling holes into it…..if youre into this stuff u should repeat this out loud

Feb 4, 2009 at 12:50 pm

Well now, some of those cars look like crap, some of those cars look good. It’s not like it’s really a “new” trend, rat roders do it all the time and have been doing it for a long time. Each to his own. I hope it stays around, just to keep pissing off all you jealous, heating, bastards. Besides it’s not the hood, it’s what is under the hood. Keep up the good work I say.

Feb 4, 2009 at 12:25 pm

Beech
Feb 4, 2009 at 12:23 pm

And whats with the civic with the car-bra on the rusty hood,,,,whats the point of that you idiots?!

Beech
Feb 4, 2009 at 12:15 pm

WTF guys???!!! REALLY,,,come on. A rusty hood is not cool, unique, or exciting. Its an eye soar! Rather its a very clean brand-new ride or an old piece of crap, a rusty hood just does not do it for me at all, as well as many others that have left posts on here as well. If your into customizing your car then why would you down-grade anything? You guys need to give your heads a shake and get a life, your making an ass out of yourselves and the tuner scene!

Xavier
Feb 4, 2009 at 10:30 am

All of the cars look like the owners couldn’t afford to get their hoods painted. I’m sure eventually the rust will eat right through the hood and ruin it. Bottom-line, it doesn’t look good and sticks out like a giant zit on your forehead. I would never do that to my car. Never, ever.

chase
Feb 4, 2009 at 10:08 am

arguing back and forth. . . . for those who think its stupid good for you. those who like it, really why, because its unique? quit trying to be special, there’s nothing unique about a rusty hood, its more common than carbon fiber, duh! this is about as bad as those free loader “artists” thinking being naked swinging from a vine splashing paint on a wall is art.

Feb 4, 2009 at 8:16 am

Rusty hoods look retarded. Why would you ever want a rusty hood on your car? The hood is one of the first things you see on a car. So why put something that looks like its from a junk yard on it. I think cars with rusty hoods look like shit on wheels. Idk maybe its because i like a nice clean look, but i hate em.

Mike
Feb 4, 2009 at 7:32 am

You know how this got started? Some dude with no money couldn’t afford to get a real Carbon hood, so he decided why not take all the paint off. Or the hood was rusted in the first place and he didn’t have money to paint it. And now a bunch of people are following this “trend”.

How can you even begin to think it looks good. It looks nasty. All the cars above are beautiful but the hood ruins the look. Who would want rust on their cars. I understand trying to be unique, but with a rusted hood on your car?

I like how the people who think we should all think like them are becoming abusive. The no paint on the hood is STUPID, why do you think there was paint on them in the first place,,,,to stop them from rotting. I agree that to each is own and some trends have to start some where but there is a difference between discouvering something unique and just turning out junk. So to every one who is taking offense to the negative remarks, you are right that it is their cars but it is no different than someone buying a house and taking a wrecking ball to it and and then calling it ” art ” especialy when we have enough junk being thrown out and now we have hoods filling our land fill sites too.

I like the whole antique look. It’s pretty mean on a rod or lead-sled, but anything this new-ish looks pretty bad! I drive a 1st gen XB and I would LOVE to get a set of vintage artilleries or smoothies with classic looking caps and white wall tires and such…BUT I DON’T WANT MY TOASTER TO LOOK DISEASED!!! Liked the line about leprosy and extreme sunburns Charlie, ha-ha! How about throwing in some cold soars and liverspots too!

Feb 2, 2009 at 7:28 am

I’m not feelin it, but hey its your car and you can do whatever you want with it. Thats what art is all about and not everyone has to like it. Props for being brave enough to try something different. When building your car it has to what u like, love, envision, regardless if your friend did it, if its a trend, if everyone hates it, if your girl likes it, or its the most popular kit. You have to build the car for you not everyone else, and as long as you stay true to that you’ll be good. I walk up to my car, its exactly what I imagined. I turn the key and rip down the road, its exactly what I expected. Theres a moto I live by: DREAM IT, BUILD IT, DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT

Craig-Krazian
Feb 2, 2009 at 7:04 am

Well let me just say this. . . I have a Sunfire. I don’t think it’s that cool of a car, but I work on it a little, and I would never think about damaging a $1000 part on my car to make it look worse. It’s like carving things into your body and calling the scars art. Nope, not for me.

this is for the old euros. the new imports don’t look as good, if I saw a civic on the road covered with rust I’d just assume its some old redneck guy. The vdubs and that bimmer look pretty good. Love the old style tiny wide rims with white walls.

I think this trend is ridiculous and I don´t understand why someone would do this to their car. It´s like dressing up in a suit and wearing 5 year old runners!! Tasteless! But then again people have the right to do what ever they like with their cars and everyone has different taste.

noname666

I don’t know how I feel. I mean, yeah on some cars it looks awesome and on others not so much, but its unique and thats what makes the car industry so awesome.

By the way all of you people saying stuff like “gay” and shit, its may not be your taste, but the car owner is trying to stand out and I give them respect.

Justin
Feb 1, 2009 at 9:50 am

if you want that old antique look, just go find and old model-t in a barn, that should give you the tetnis-shot youve been looking for. i know its to each their own and all that, but you gotta have sense of style, not every car will look great with so much money dropped in it, then garnished with a hood thatll rust off before the next show. i do agree with alot an that does look like shit, but i do admit that the new Vdubs do look good, the golfs now look just as good as they did when they first came out, so adding and old dub-rodder look to a new dub i dont see being wrong. just leave it for the vdubs, this isnt a look for all “tuners”.

im fine with the look… i liked a few of the cars… the only thing im irritated by is the stupid lil VW drivers claiming the rust look… rat rods have been doin that rusted shit before VW’s were even cool… but anyways… quit hatin on the look everybody… if they want theyre cars to look like shit then so be it… the look will come and go anyways… kinda like those huge aluminium spoilers

So fucking stupid, why would anyone rust there hood? They can’t possibly think that looks good…

Doug
Feb 1, 2009 at 12:39 am

Maybe if it was rusted in a certain way to have a design or something, but just simply rusted out like on a lot of those rides doesn’t seem to work. Personally, I hate the idea of doing something like that. Carbon fibre, brushed aluminum, or a two-tone is a ton better. Racing stripes maybe too?

James
Jan 31, 2009 at 2:30 pm

There’s a difference between a trend that inspires us to accomplish a goal or task. A want or drive to improve. Because maybe some popular kid happened to tell hims friends the reason his hood wasn’t painted was to set a trend ( I assume this is how it started somewhere ), instead of saying I’m broke, is rediculous. Screw that trend. Primer black, sure. It protect the body. A trend should serve a purpose. This trend does nothing but instigate a short cut – I’ll save $100 if I don’t paint my hood and spend it on blue foot pedals. Whatever. Im sure this import trend will carry over to the classic or domestic market lol HAHHAHAHA whatever

Tony
Jan 31, 2009 at 2:12 pm

Here’s the thing many of you are missing. Sure some people may see it as ‘copying’ but really, when you think about it, ‘everything’ is copied. Back in the early hot rod years, many cars had Cragars, traction bars/ladder bars, Hurst shifters, side pipes, flames…that’s just how it goes. Nowadays, everyone (okay…most everyone) rolls on big chrome rims. Personally, I think the rusted hood ‘works’ on some of these rides…it fits.

The way I see it, these ‘trends’ come out, become popular and then lose their flair only to be resurrected some day in the future and then it gets a ‘remember when…’. Whether you like it or not, hot rodding and car modding goes in trends like this. Rat rods are making a comeback and are now ‘trendy’ when they were done by our fathers and grandfathers ‘back-in-the-day’.

The real difference is…some people know how to make a trend “work” effectively and some people do it “just because” and it looks lame. I’ve been customizing cars for years and I always say, do what you like and enjoy what you drive. If you succeed and people like your ride…great. If not, try something else, or just shut-up and enjoy it and don’t let the haters bother you.

Individuality is what hot rodding is all about…whether you follow the trends or not…make your ride unique…but most importantly…make it yours!

Jesse
Jan 31, 2009 at 1:49 pm

A couple of these actually didnt look half bad, but overall I would never put a rusted item on my car, shine beats grime!

Scott
Jan 31, 2009 at 1:47 pm

Once a trend starts everybody has to do the same thing to fit in or be cool. I would call that being a Copy-Cat. Its so ridiculous that w/ all that rust would cause so much drag and slow down your 1/4 time, oh wait that rusted hood just gave them 50 more horse power. The human brain is a terrible thing to waste, I think they lack real imagination skills.

Scott
Jan 31, 2009 at 1:42 pm

In my opinion I don’t care for the rusted hood look. It looks very tacky, and makes the car look like crap. This style belongs on Rat Rods, not Tuners. Plus I hate rust on any vehicle and esp mine for that matter. I appreciate cars w/ class and style, this is not one of those factors. I own two vehicles a 2006 Scion tC and a 1995 Chevy S-10 Lowrider/Custom Modified, cars that look like this wouldn’t get my vote for a trophy or as a clean ride. If you take a look at HIN (Hot Import Nights), or NOPI, you don’t see this trash there. Its just like anything in this world, “A Fad”, comes and goes. I understand individuality, but this is ridiculous! Personally this look gives the whole tuner scene a bad name and labels our cars as rusted pieces of crap w/ no sence of style.

This isn’t even about ricers. I own a Mazda and have an honest respect for Subarus, Hondas & VW’s but THIS trend (if you want to call it that), is seriously effin retarded. Don’t even try to defend yourself either. You probably saw some random a**hat who did it to HIS car and you had to shove the idea down your throat just to accept it as “cool”. I guarantee you that one day you’re going to think back and say “wow, that was really stupid. I can’t believe I thought that was cool”.

Nero
Jan 31, 2009 at 11:33 am

Umm I’m knocking it, but I don’t get it. The only one I liked was the VW next to last where the whole car has the rust theme. I think it throws the car off just being on the hood. Oh well, it’s unique.

Jan 31, 2009 at 9:57 am

If I saw that in person, I’d barf on it…. but who would be able to tell afterwards it looks the same lol. I can’t imaging touching the hood… I mean, I would never want to open or close that…. and there is no way a model would ever want to pose in front of that…

Looks completely retarded on an otherwise finished car.

Looks ignorant. I mean, some of those pics are just completely stock cars where the damaged hood was replaced and never painted. And now that looks cool?

There is no way this compares to having a nice carbon fiber hood, which just looks clean.

Looks like complete FAIL!

Mike
Jan 31, 2009 at 9:56 am

Looks pretty stupid, especially when it gets all orange. Maybe on some older cars and when the whole car is rusty it’s ok. But not on newer cars.

I’m sorry but put the rusty hood on an old beat up rusted car and keep it there! Personally I think it’s worse than people having a black primered hood so it appears to be a carbon fiber hood from about 20 miles away.

Brian
Jan 31, 2009 at 9:06 am

I like it a lot better than the carbon fiber hood craze (though that serves a more practical purpose). Some of these actually look pretty good!

Jan 31, 2009 at 8:43 am

okay so this is how i see it…i like (kinda) the way it looks on flat/satin paint cars but not on shiny ones…being from michigan i see a LOT of rust most of the time this just makes the car look cheap and that you do not care for you car . as for this look being urban hardly this look is more junk yard and looks better on rat rods.

Frank von B.
Jan 31, 2009 at 8:30 am

I don`t realy get it why they do it on te new cars
but i think it looks ok on the mk1 and mk2 golf (or rabbit as you call them) but thats my taste.
But i realy like it on the Opel/Vauxhall/Chevrolet/Holden Corsa B those start to rust in the brochure. thats humour! whit out speaking of te side exaust and the strap on roofrack

Randal
Jan 31, 2009 at 8:12 am

I have mixed feelings on it, on a newer car not so much. (The EF sedan looks pretty good) I would prefer to see bare metal with a clear coat on it or to have it look like the EG the way it would rust in a few years not a full panel of just rust. I like the flat green Vdub, it just seems to fit. I wouldn’t do it (I don’t have my metal hood anymore anyway) I might do it to my dented fender, just cause I cant fix it.

Robert
Jan 31, 2009 at 7:59 am

it ruins the cars image. all of those cars could be very very nice if it werent for the rust. it looks like they spent all this money on painting their cars and ran out of money before it was done… i dont understand why this is even appealing. as long as i can remember rust is a bad thing? but who knows i could be wrong

Are you frickin serious get over your self I’m sick of all these people with there stupid ricers talkin about how all there cars are so cool. I don’t care if you have a 600 HP civic it’s still a CIVIC. It’s always gonna be a civic. And your rusted hoods are even more queer. I thought exhaust pipes you could stuff your head in were bad. Your cars isn’t cool it’s an econo box with more money in the rims and engine then the car is even worth.

joshua miller
Jan 31, 2009 at 5:56 am

i was actually going to do this to my caprice like a year ago, but my wife wouldn’t allow it. she said it would look gay, but i retorted, “how can it look gay, its flat black w/ a built big block in it!” she said, “cuz it just would!” so i said, “it falls under the 800 lb. gorilla clause,” she responded “huh, what the hell is that?!” i told her, “what does an 800 lb. gorilla do for fun?” kate said “i dont know! what?” i said “WHAT EVER THE F**K IT WANTS!”

but seriously, my hood was rusted because i left the garage door open after stripping it. i dont have a problem w/ the older cars that have em, but for christ’s sake(!!!!!!!!), if the damn car has less than 50,000 miles on it, its not gonna be rusty unless you make it rusty. i should know, i’m from mid michigan, rust capital of the world!!!!!!!

Jan 30, 2009 at 9:57 pm

Ya know, I change my mind. Some of the random patterns made in some of the lighter colors of rust would make a kick ass custom paint job if clearcoated….. It’d have to be done for the whole car though…(pic 18 color)

I love the comments you guys are posting. As its been said once before, Educate your self, this is not NEW. Its been around for a long time. This of course isn’t true hoodride. Its more Hoodride Style.

I did it to mine because I am fan of old vw’s. I like the unchanged threw time look. Wheels, set it down low, have fun with it. I also did it because I think the VIP style is nice, but cost way to much. I mean, some of the things Garson, Spirits, Kenstyle, DAMD sell is WAY over priced. And being in the Scion Community it’s over ran with VIP JDM and pure show cars. So why not bring some old school flavor, to a new company? I also think the fact that half the people here hate it, is good. Now, go watch your Fast and the Furious 4 trailer and talk about how its all rice!

Been rocking a unpainted hood since the end of summer. Of course, I just stripped the paint and primer with Aircraft Paint remover… Then to make it stand out a bit, I did a checkered board in satin black and bare metal. Been letting nature run its course, and now that its seen some road salt, it should start rusting soon.

I, to my knowledge, am the first Scion to do this… And a few have joined the few, the proud, the rusting…

I knew that some people did this on purpose to fool people they may be racing against, but the entire car would look like it had been sitting in the back forty for years, they’re called beaters. Why you would just make the hood look like that and the rest of the car look pristine, to me that kind of makes the rest of the car look bad.

Adam
Jan 30, 2009 at 3:47 pm

Hood ride taking over! This has entered the Scion spectrum as well. Check out the link for several xB owners rusting up their Scions. I don’t really care for rust on a new car or classic for that matter, but as always to each his own!

What’s to like! I mean, sure it’s something different, but it doesn’t even match most of those cars. The VW (3rd pic from top) at least goes with that hood, but that R32 or GTi in black on black wheels look ridiculous! He just ruined the car!

Jan 30, 2009 at 2:37 pm

I was all over this trend way before these guys got started. My old ’93 Spirit 2.5L TBI came to me in somewhat “desperate condition”. Worn out rusty rockers and pealling tan paint started my car’s natural work. It was the product of 13 years of nature at work. I added to the styling by banging up the sides a little. Kissed a guard rail on the driver’s side and had a driveway incident on the passenger. This heightened the effect of wear by trading paint, leaving indentations and in the case of my rear quarter, a hole the size of a half dollar. Now that’s cool!!! But wait!! It didn’t stop there. I had to replace my trunk lid resulting in a scratched red trunk. I also wanted to add factory foglights, so I found the correct white colored bumper with the factory cutouts I needed. It matches my steelies with busted hub cap covers…. And to think people spend time and money to achieve this look? I just don’t get it.

Dhillaz
Jan 30, 2009 at 2:34 pm

I think it ruins nicely made clean cars: I really like the red Civic at the top otherwise.

Though, it does look good when the whole car looks like a rusty old beater, with a beast of an engine hidden under the hood.

This seems unnatural. If you saw a rusty ’32 ford rat rod and parked it beside anyone of the above cars, you would see how awkward it looks. I just don’t expect to see rust on a car that new.

Although, if it’s an overall theme, it fits better. I kinda like the flat green VW in the middle. I personally wouldn’t do this though.

I like my “antique finishes” in furniture. I like my cars shiny and new.

I am gonna strip the paint off my hood, so I can be with the “IN” crowd.

Pretty pointless if you ask me. Eventually you’re going to have to replace the hood when it gets too rotted. It looks trashy on a completly finished car. The “antique” hood only goes along if the rest of the car is the same way. But I do like the unfinished metal hood with the star against the flat black on that Civic hatch.

I can see the brushed steel look, but a rusted hood when the rest of the car has nice paint?

I don’t understand this at all. I could understand, and it would look cool, on a rat rod; but most of these cars here are from the early 90′s or later…. You couldn’t impress me with a car like that no matter what motor was in it. “Yea but… your hood is rusted as hell dude…”

wow some of these rides actually look well done with the combination of that rusted hood (especially the Bimmer at the end) but….most of them look bad with it.

OH well….if it makes someone happy, i guess thats all that matters haha
