By Rob Einaudi

Is this thing hot or what? Built on a Cadillac Escalade EXT by a shop in Russia, this one-off custom is nearing completion. Tons more pics of the build at Jalopnik

i dont like saying a russian car is cool……but that is. it could definitely use a different nose though….maybe one from a power wagon?

GAZ-51 is a 5000Lb commercial truck. It was build from the mid 40′s till 70′s. It was very popular truck in the Soviet Army after WWII.
I think Grand Garage did exceptional work on reproducing feel and look of that particular truck. Just Google “GAZ-51″ images and you will see resemblance.

It should have a grill that looks like a ’37 Chevy or a ’40 Ford…

sweet truck but i agree with SouthernGuy8503, the nose is too square, while the rest of the bodylines are all rounded.

well my opinion, the grille just doesn’t look right on the truck, the rest of the truck looks fine, the whole truck has nice rounded curves and then there’s the square grille, doesn’t reallt fit that truck, other than the grille the truck looks fine

It looks good! But I like the idea with the red bed in the concetp art better. I think there’s too much black.

I think that looks absolutly fantastic! I read about this earlier today over on autoblog and immediately thought this is awesome. Just the style and overall presence is striking say the least. What a machine!
