I figured while I was poking around the Los Angeles Public Library’s photo archive, I’d sate another obsession of mine and search for old photos of dealerships and auto factories. Didn’t find nearly as many as I did photos of trucks and cars. Photographer Dick Whittington snapped the photo below, described as “the Paul G. Hoffman Co. Inc. Studebaker car dealership on the corner of Figueroa Street and Wilshire Boulevard in 1937, later the site of the Statler Hotel.” Continue reading at Hemmings
