What's a Chayka?

One of the best episodes of Top Gear that I have seen recently was when Clarkson and May compared cars made in the Eastern Block during the height of the communist era. I was surprised when they “test drove” a Chayka. Made for Russia’s ruling elite, the Chayka was a great looking machine. Unfortunately, like most cars from the Eastern Block, they were less than reliable. This Chayka popped up recently on eBay. So for a lot of money you could have something relatively unique and unreliable. Because it is a good looking car, it would be great if someone rodded it and gave it modern running gear.
